(I put my trust in joy)

How do I choose the "right" path? How do I discover what my soul truly wants? How can I avoid getting lost in the forest of illusions?

When I allow reasoning to override feeling, when I allow the expectations of others and official sources to carry the greatest weight, the answers drift away from my grasp.

Instead, when I pay attention to how I feel, to how my energy flows through the things I do, whether it expands or contracts, whether I feel pleasure or discomfort, I pave the way to that inner knowledge that has not been learned anywhere, but which I have carried within me since birth, and which knows what steps to take.

There is one element, in particular, that acts like a compass, like a guiding light that indicates the way out when all around is darkness. This element, this precious ingredient, is joy.

Joy reveals to me whether I am heading in the direction of my soul or taking some other strange detour.

So many people have lost touch with joy. They stifle it beneath the weight of objects and narrow perspectives. Some forget that the possibility of experiencing joy even exists, somewhat like having a muscle that we no longer use and therefore forget we have it.

Joy, fortunately, is forever on the lookout inside us, ready to whisper stories of wonder and amazement at every opportunity. We just need to awaken it, give it a chance, and be ready to tune into its frequency – just as when we were children and we used to spontaneously smile and rejoice over any and everything, big or small.

What brings me joy now, during the day, in general? When and in what settings do I feel full of vitality, in the flow, free to be and manifest myself just as I am?

These are my favourite questions, the ones I think are important, because it is from here that all meaning begins, and where everything worth exploring comes from.

Joy has a myriad of nuances. There is immediate joy, the joy I feel if a child smiles at me, if I see a hovering bumble bee, if I am struck by a happy coincidence, if I ponder on the things for which I am grateful.

Sometimes joy is quite unexpected: I had not foreseen that I would encounter it, but it comes and washes over me, taking me by surprise, while I am engaged in other things... and then I pay attention, because when there is joy there is ever-present soul that whisperingly beckons: ”This way, this way!”

There is also a slower and more profound joy, almost hidden but no less true. Quite the opposite. It swims beneath the surface and then emerges in its own time, such as when I commit myself to a project I care about, pursuing a passion, a vision: at the beginning, I feel tiredness, uncertainty, and even fear, but little by little I feel the joy grow and reward me for each effort.

Then there is the joy that is not joy, but only its mask, like some forms of happiness or ego-boosting. This type of happiness needs a reason to manifest itself, a material situation, an emotional fulfilment, a recognition of some kind that always arrives from outside... which can however be temporary, if not dramatically deceptive.

True joy, on the other hand, stems from perceiving the intrinsic beauty of the world, of others, and myself; it stems from being faithful to my calling, to my talents, or the pursuit of them, regardless of what happens on the outside or of who recognises them or not.

If “happiness” makes a resounding noise, joy is subtler, albeit dense, without peaks or troughs, simply full of its being. When joy seems to ebb and flow, it is because I am the one who ebbs and flows to and from myself, my authenticity, lured and distracted by illogical reasoning or choices made devoid of love. But joy is ever present, ready to hold me in its embrace every time I simply make room for life.

Joy, you see, has many combination codes, many routes that intertwine and interconnect with my uniqueness and the mission of my heart. If there is no joy, everything else may be there - material security, power, glamour, physical pleasure, emotional and intellectual fulfilment, friends and acquaintances, recognition and accolades of all sorts... – but there will never be the encounter with who I am, the free flow of energy, and that unmistakable flavour you get when the steps you take make sense.

I put my trust in joy. Not in calculations, not in fear. The right path is the one where my heart feels alive.

(Being put to the test)

The life you seek starts to manifest itself when you begin to get a sense of who you are, what you want, and what you bring to this existence.

As long as the tide of opinion is steering you, as long as the fear of thwarting others’ expectations is stronger than the desire to be who you are, you remain under the control of what seems to be reality and all its machinations.

The moment you come to recognise that your innermost nature is on a mission – that your value is not mechanically dictated by external parameters, but rather is a matter of your being present with love – you are freed from the world of perpetual pretence; no longer can you ignore that clarion call to explore the world that bristles with causes, with energies, exhorting you to play your part in changing the patterns that are unfolding out there.

The old patterns will immediately spring into action, putting you on high alert, worried about losing their habitual source of energy, namely your attention, beliefs and emotions, which have always nourished them. They will then try to provoke and unnerve you to get you hooked and undermine your resolve. It is as if they were insidiously whispering to you: "You believe you can change, but in reality, you are only spinning fine words and empty phrases. We’ll show you, we'll put you to the test”.

What's the problem? If you're up for a test, none! Sooner or later, whoever or whatever is challenging you will eventually succumb to the strength of the evidence. Provided, of course, that you really do go beyond words and persist in your action – internally and externally – and do not let yourself be fazed by the trials and tribulations that are always trying to arouse the pain-body.

The pain-body feeds on frustration, depression, fear, anger... and all the low, disempowering emotions that make you doubt that you are a being capable of creating a reality of joy and love.

The next time you feel the pain-body being triggered, you can choose to remain a detached and compassionate observer, not judging it but at the same time not being commanded by it. Instead of pandering to its automatic nature, stay present, soothe it, and then direct your energy elsewhere, towards the life you have chosen to create.

Your problems will never disappear altogether, but they will slowly transform; they will adapt to your new frequency, and instead of emphasising your weakness or your belief that you are a victim, they will help you define your strength, your ability to cope.

It all starts when you choose to side with who you are. It is an ongoing process of discovery, with gradual, ever-changing stages, but the important thing is to serve your authenticity, to learn to go along with “vision” and not with fear. What form will the path take? What will happen next? You cannot know. You can only find out.

But you do know that if you do not embark upon this journey towards yourself and towards the new life that awaits you – actively, concretely, and deploying all your abilities – something inside you will sense that you have lost out on an important opportunity.

Our task is not to control everything, but to learn to love, and this is the ultimate goal of every experience. To learn to love, each time a little more, ourselves, others and the world.

Everything that is dark, creates problems or functions badly, is something that needs to be loved, as does everything that generates fear, provokes a lack or a wanting, and challenges our trust.

The ways of love are far from obvious: sometimes they require presence, acceptance, patience; sometimes commitment, constancy, willpower; sometimes lucidity, detachment, foresight; sometimes strength, self-denial, courage...

Love can be interpreted in all human capabilities. Recognising and choosing the ways of love is the supreme task entrusted to each one of us. Whether we like it or not, this is where our experiences ultimately lead us: to that grounded root of ourselves, of our soul, of its desire to embody the vision of love.

(The world fears dreamers)

When we are constantly submerged in a realm of stress, despair, or urgent need, we tend to lose faith in the future, which is transformed into something unattainable, if not ominous.

We are told that we should live in the present moment and not worry about the future, but this does not imply that the future is unimportant. Living in the present moment means being in touch with that inner drive, that desire to be “right here right now”, that carries you along your path, a path that by definition unfolds in space-time and looks ahead with optimism and trust.

If we lose our sense of trust, we lose the ability to nurture our dreams, which can surge forth from the present and reach into the future because we believe in them. And in ourselves.

When times are tough, dreams come under attack. Trials, challenges, and rough patches point the finger at you and say, "Give up your dreams! How dare you have hopes and plans?"

Anyone who does not believe in themselves and their dreams is a person who becomes manipulable, controllable, and vulnerable to vampirism. A person on whom the demands and needs of others can be imposed. A person who will all too gladly accept the narrative that surrounds them because they do not know the purpose of their own soul. A person who does not believe in themselves and their dreams is a person who cannot lead, or haul themselves out of the illusion and the problem.

There are some contexts that, of course, call upon us to recalibrate our actions. We cannot ignore the environment in which we are immersed. Sometimes its conditions are harsh. Our function, our mission, however, arises from the very interaction of ourselves with the setting in which life has placed us.

Be warned, however: most of the time circumstances are not as set in stone as they may appear. The real limits lie in the beliefs we allow ourselves to make our own, in the fears we carry. We need to use the eye of our inner self to review the film we have agreed to project in our minds, to understand whether it truly corresponds to the possibilities our soul sees, or whether instead it is the world trying to make us prisoners of a lack of vision.

Our dreams, our yearning for their fulfilment, are the compass that shows us how to navigate the terrain of the present. They keep our feet firmly planted on the path to the future. They are the bridge to what is yet to come.

The world fears dreamers; it fears their ability to act and decide on the basis of the vision they carry within themselves, and not on the basis of other interests, so it - or at least a part of it - does everything in its power to shatter their confidence, their sense of inspiration, and keep them in a constant state of alarm and impotence, where the dream can no longer exist.

But dreamers are also those people who, even in the most difficult circumstances, know how to discern what is essential. Dreamers value what matters. They cultivate – even secretly – the fresh seeds of rebirth and rebellion.

Dreamers know that dreams are powerful energy – a stream of inspiration that provides support and supplies fuel. And you do not cut off the fuel when you need it most. Dreams nourish us and nourish our relationship with the concept of becoming, which is today being challenged more than ever.

But dreamers also know that dreams need to be nurtured, they need us to sustain them, to fight for them, to continually strive to seek them, to beckon them, to realise them. It is a relationship of reciprocal support. We need dreams and dreams need us.

When difficulties loom large, that is the signal not to cast our dreams aside, but to look more honestly within ourselves, beyond illusions and fears, and to side more authentically and courageously with our aspirations.

If we don't get tangled up in fear and the narrative imposed by the world, then every difficult moment becomes an opportunity, a gateway to a greater awareness of ourselves, of our relationships with beings and the world, and of how we are the creators of our own experience; then we can seize the reins of responsibility and undertake the commitment to journey towards the dream, instead of settling for a life watching on the sidelines, where we have no idea what inflames the heart and gratifies the soul.

The mind can learn, but the soul knows. Between the mind and the soul stands the disciple, the one who connects the being who experiences, grows and declines with the being who is immortal, unalterable and indestructible.

Magic is when you know who you are, when you know what your heart wants, and then you go forth and get it. You can sense that your soul is your ally in this quest, and that no one can come between you and your destiny. You don't need strength, but intent. You don't need to convince yourself, because you simply know.

Camilla – English translation by Will

When we accept the obstacle – accept its right to exist and its bond with our energy – something within us is transformed and the obstacle itself begins to dissolve. To accept the evidence is not to endure it, it is to stop fighting against it and instead let it show us how to go beyond it.

(How are you vibrating?)

There is always a reason to be afraid. Fear always has some sort of explanation to allow itself to take control over everything. Even when the explanation is nonsensical, even when it lacks insight and common sense, fear plays on the fact that people identify with thoughts and 'whys'. The important thing is that when something is thought, when it is said, it can become a pretext.

And then there is love. Love needs no explanation. Love knows how things are and is in touch with the truth. When it comes to love, words and reasoning are superfluous; if anything, they become the means to express and inspire, not to limit, or to control. Love sees far into the distance, it does not dwell on what appears in the moment, but perceives the invisible development of events.

When you get stuck in explanations, when you seek excuses or need a why, ask yourself if you are vibrating with fear instead of love.

Chiaroudienza: chiarezza nell'udire

E magari in

Trasformare l'impossibile in possibile
